Still trying to find softer front forks springs for the marzocchi's on my std 1299 panigale as not using the bottom 35mm of travel on road or track. I had some "lighter fork" springs supplied and fitted by moto rapido. They told me the standard ones are 10NM and provided 9.5NM Ohlins replacements. Actually they're the same or marginally stiffer than the originals - so that was a complete waste of time. The original spring dimensions are id 29.5mm od 42.5mm in middle od for last turn 40.3mm Length 250mm Contacted a few specialists but no one has replacements. The only suggestions now are to try similar springs from other bikes - but there are few as wide. Surely someone out there must have cracked this?
How much do you weigh? It's worth considering your air gap / oil height in the forks as that is responsible for the last part of fork travel. More air gap = more travel
