Tried that on a couple of gore-tex jackets from different retailers but that code cannot be used. I always wondered how ebay could make sellers give a discount and it seems that they don't.
When I’ve had these before, everything I have tried to use them on has failed to be accepted. So I just delete the emails these days.

The saving comes from the Ebay and PayPal fees which add up to around 15% not the sellers - the codes usually go out to inactive accounts to tempt people to start using Ebay again I think...
