I'm selling my very special power plant, brain and and lungs from my much loved 998 track bike . I had planned to track/race it again, but moving abroad means thats not going to happen anytime soon therefore its reluctantly up for sale to a lucky individual. i might be prepared to split, so do let me know if you are interested in the engine or exhaust on their own, but i think these items together with the ECU might be of interest as a package. This engine is refreshed and ready to use. It should be of interest to if you are in the process of building up a 998 track/race bike or special custom road bike. This should be a drop in replacement for 996R/998s & (i think) 998FE 2002-2003 This package will save you a lot of time (and a small fortune i have the receipts!!) and give you a big power an torque increase and improved throttle response. I ran this for approx 15 trackdays and it performed fantastically. It was more than quick enough with a massive amount of usable mid range torque which allowed me to lose most in-line fours out of corners and the improved top end is eye popping! At the end of the season it went back to Louigi for a refresh its been checked over thoroughly and rebuilt with new seals etc so is ready to race; new main bearings gearbox and output bearings big end shells and bearings and some gearbox cogs due to heavy wear (bloody quickshfter!!) i might be prepared to split but It makes sense to offer these items together first. NB The exhaust is for deep sump Testastretta motors only As mentioned above, this should be a drop in replacement for 996R/998s & (i think also) 998FE 2002-2003 i believe it will also fit in a 748R frame but i don’t know about other mods needed for this bike To fit in 748/916/996 can be done, but this requires frame and some other modifications The engine will go in lots of bikes (749 999) will post some pics up this weekend any questions please send me a PM
