I'm planning to let go of my 1974 860GT. 1974 860GT is an early Series 1, fitted with a GTS tank and stainless mudguards and a pair of sonorous Conti silencers. Low mileage of 22k that is substantiated in the history that comes with the bike. I rescued the bike in 2017 from Berkeley, California and imported, registered and returned it to the road. It's a lovely thing to ride and no slouch. Sticker price is a highly negotiable, *REDUCED* £9,000
My experience with the buyer is that they're frightened to part with their money unless it's with a bloody dealer with some sort of warranty inplace, the great British reserve as well kicks in.............very frustrating as a private seller.
Be still my beating heart!! A brace of absolute beauties. Sadly, I’m not in acquisition mode at present, but wish you every success in selling them.
Won another £30. Thats £26,940 to go. Thanks for your patience Fire. I should have enough by this time in 10yrs.
A nice bump for the OP, a quick question does anyone have Lewis Collins's old MHR in their garage.....reg number UNM?8W
