Before I look to post on classified section (photos, etc), just thought I'd try to gauge interest on my ST2. 1998 (R), 24k miles, silver with red panniers. Not the tidiest, but on the button reliable and smooth. Loads of paperwork for services, etc. Bought just under a year ago in the hope of using to commute and as a winter hack, but just don't get the time to ride her. She spends too long sat in my parent's garage. So, what is the likelihood of it being attractive to anybody at around the £1300 mark? I can get photos and post to classified section if it seems to be interesting enough for the folks on here. Any ideas or thoughts (beyond the obvious " just put it in the classifieds!")?
Thanks for the above fellas. To be fair to my olds, they have been very patient having her stored in their garage while I occasionally run, clean, lube her. My brother has a basket case XJ750 sat there, too i will ill get some photos sorted at the weekend (given my knee is fecked and can't play rugby) and get posted on the classified section. reality is a pain in the arse, but I reckon I have only put about 1500 miles on both bikes in the past 12 months, and the 998 is a true keeper, so the ST has to go until I get a big enough garage :-(
