1jac Adaptors

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by RC1, Sep 10, 2022.

  1. After months of searching i finally got one for cheap money and local to me
they are so well made - i didnt want to go down the constands route and needed something more agile than the abba skylift
Given the company is in limbo does anyone know how i get an adaptor to suit my 748/916? Can they be fabricated easily enough?

  2. Post a pic or three of the parts you have that need to be replicated in a different size?

  3. I assume you have tried to email them directly? A year ago they appeared to be responding to similar requests.

  4. Only bought it yesterday
If anyone has an FB account can you check if they have a Tel no?

  7. If you get hold of them but they can’t supply worth asking for a pdf of the technical drawing. Easy to get made then (locally).

  8. @RC1 how did you get on?

  9. So you have an 1Jac with no adaptor?

  10. nope. i bought it knowingly with an adaptor for another bike thinking that in time i could get the correct adaptor from the newly relaunched 1jac, ebay or a fabricator

  11. thanks for the dislike by the way. i give you help, you give me dislike. wtf?

  12. Calm yourself. I dislike the fact you had nada luck getting an adapter.

  13. how do you think i feel? so much for the vaunted 1jac relaunch

  14. Many of the bursig plates fit the 1jac. The bursig is a copy of the envy/1jac upgraded with a gas strut to slowly lower the bike

  15. Good intel thanks

  16. From the pics I have seen, the warrior plates look like they might fit also

  18. @OP. I bought a 1JAC with an 1199 adaptor and when I changed the bike to the V4 I spent ages online trying to source a straight fit adapter so I could use the 1Jac on the V4. After months of messing around with no joy in sourcing a straight fit adapter plate, I bought one of these from Motea https://www.motea.com/en/adapter-pl...assic-evo-ducati-panigale-v4-s-18-23-995294-0 jigged it on the bike with the 1Jac in place and then welded the adaptor to the 1Jac. It worked a treat and I have used it for 12 months without issue.

Unfortunately, I discovered yesterday that the adapter plate will not fit the V4R, due to the adjustable swing arm pivot bolt recess not being sufficiently deep enough to take the adaptor. So mine will be for sale at some point.

    Cheers

  19. i have a warrior lift and a search for adapters wasn`t very fruitful, only a handful of models available. on the motea webite if you search the model of bike your looking to attach to they have down loadable assembly instructions which point you in the right direction to make your own. i also have a motea stand (they do 2 models, one with angled reinforcement from the base to the lifting column as per the ijac, and another ,which i have, without) which whilst you say you didnt want to go down that route is in my opinion far better ,but not perfect
