evening all I've spent the last few months reading and re reading all the posts i could find on the 848. all the ins & outs, all the pros & cons and have to say that my 1st short ride on it (10 mins long due to weather) was amazing. loved it! the acceleration, that thumping noise from the termis, the engine braking, everything. even after such a short ride i already feel like I've gone for the right bike. my last few bikes have all been blades and while they are damn good bikes, they don't compare to this. not too un comfy nor painful on my wrists. just right. if there was just one thing, it would be the gearing. might be tempted to go for the 14 tooth front but that's about it for the time being. well, until the bling begins. ;-) my only regret is, not having got one earlier. br, ian
