I've booked my DVT into Moto Rapido for the first 1,000km service. I know that they will change the oil & filter but what else should I expect them to do. E.G. will they adjust the chain (if it needs it) and lube it. Will they check the tyre pressure. I noticed that the fuel gauge was playing up - filled up the tank and it only showed quarter full, then the next fill up it showed full. Does all this stuff get sorted? I'm new to this so any pointers would be helpful. Thanks. PS: Idle speed seems a bit fast at 1200 revs - is this normal?
If your first Service is called "Out", you are allowed a second Service ... oh no, wait a minute, that's Wimbledon ...
moto rapido are good and will look after you. however, yes make a list and hand it to them as they are as every ducati dealership 'very busy with how popular their bikes are'...its your first service so they will either want to impress or get it over and done quickly... (and why not add full wash and wax, check all bolts are tight to the list - )
At the back of your Owner's Manual you will find tables that break down what is done at each service interval. If you think you need/want anything extra talk to the Service Manager, who is Stuart at MRs. Andy
I suggest you call them before hand tell them all your problems so they can get the parts there Also allow enough service time for the work.
lol, you sound about as trusting as me, I have no faith in anyone and judge people by my own lazy standards, maybe one day someone will surprise me
My mts was purchased used before 1st service. They changed oil and filter, reset pin code to my choosing, checked for recalls and ordered those parts, reset oil service light, checked out per manual, and washed it. I had to go back to have those parts installed. Fuel sender took some time, seat not so much.
