  1. Hi, I've just bought a new Monster 1100 Evo and the bike has just been dropped off tonight by the dealer, after sometime on admiring the new bike I noticed that I have 2 dents on the tank which are half way down on the pin strips on the tank ( coming from fuel filler down towards the seat ) not sure if there is stiffener inside tank

    Has anyone else noticed this

  2. Stick a pic up

  3. Are you Dyslexic Paul, what use is picking a stick up for his dent.

  4. The Monster 1100 has two panels covering the tank on Left and Right side and a seperate middle panel, all plastic so cant be dents maybe its imperfections in the moulding? post some photos and someone might be able to help

  5. Among other things Phil...

  6. What does it matter what a the internetz think? Get the dealer to sort it

  7. Think that is the design. Must be there to channel the rain water straight onto your nuts.

  8. Folks, I went onto my local Ducati dealer and the 2 Monster Evo's which were in the show room have got the same dents, so it looks like a moulding issue

  9. Sounds like you sorted it :upyeah:

  10. On my 1100S I changed the centre section to carbon, when I put it back together two small dents appeared, one on each side about 4 inches down from the petrol cap moulding .... it's just the fit is quite tight and pulls that part of the tank moulding down, try taking the panels off and fiddling around a bit you may improve it......
