After seen the Matrix thread I was wondering about the last of the 748 line and why did they do them in the senna colours and not call them senna and put no plaques on them , how many were actually made and how many on here would have one this is my one
The bike was a 748S and was finished in Titanium grey with red wheels for the 2002 model year, they weren't meant to a be a replica it was just the next model up from the 748E. They were also available in red and yellow. According to Ian Falloon's book Catalogue of Ducati Motorcycles) 30 Grey models were made for the UK along with 5 Yellow and 35 Red, all for the 2002 model year.
I've just fitted an ohlins rear shock and looking out for an ohlins front , there was only 2 in this colour brought into Ireland by DucatiDublin
Sold a bike once for a new boiler and another when moving house, I do like that colour, When i have finished my KH rebuild i could sell it for one this colour, who knows i will have to wait and see.
Holy thread resurrection!! The previous post was Feb 2015! Rather apt you did comment though as spotted this in the bay whilst browsing last night http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ducati-74...913886?hash=item3f7d68195e:g:EloAAOSwEHpZJwub
