  1. 2002 Ducati 748s with a genuine 2839 miles on the clock. £9,600 o.n.o, really difficult to know where to price this, I know you never recoup parts, hours spent etc but they are becoming scarce in this condition and mileage, happy to consider offers.

When I purchased the bike I set about bringing her back to the road after she'd been sitting for a few years with the PO (many hours of elbow grease and £££ later) you can find some of the story in the thread within the 748 section.

BSD Engineering helped me with the recommission totalling £1,551 on 22.02.21 have receipts.

  2. Folks appreciate it's a crappy time of year weather wise and the summer sun is a distant memory but am I way out on price here?

  3. to be brutal id say yes over £9k for a biposto 748 is to much, thats SPS and R money nearly.

ok mint 748s are creeping up in value but not 9k worth.

  4. When I was looking last year, there were an lot anywhere between £4.5-6k for a 748s bp, lower figure for something needing a bit of work, higher mono posto 's' with some nice bits.

A quick look on the bay of E shows that not much has changed (and the only 2 that sold recently were both less than £5k)

  5. Yep agree 9,600 is too much.

I also like to note that there’s a lot of corrosion for <3000 mls bike….mine has <28k and doesn't show that…

  8. Well that bracket is the tip of the iceberg

  9. £40 to £50 will see all the fasteners replated plus your time on top for that perfect fresh look.

  10. So, I had an accident, a garage move round, dropped it off the paddock stand (I'm not as strong as I used to be), fortunately no harm done due to the rubber flooring (previous lessons learned). I've fallen in love with the bike all over again and come to my senses. I'm not going to get another one in this condition at this mileage if I get seller's remorse. She's staying and I've ordered a carbon monoposto seat unit and airbox as an apology to her. Thread closed sir/miss pls.
