Long story cut short, my OE wet clutch was removed from the bike and inspected for wear and tear during a service yesterday. After 53,000 miles on the original clutch, wear is minimal and clutch plate stack height is 4mm above minimum spec. The clutch is deemed fully serviceable and good for many miles to come. Andy
Good to know, mines approaching 50k, clutch judders a bit when cold but it's done that for the last 30,000 miles.
You need to perform more race-starts. Think of all of those poor souls in the clutch-plate factory who are going hungry because of you. You should be ashamed!
