1200 2010 De-cat Mod

  1. hi guys i know this probably has been covered numerous times but i cant seem to find my answer, i'm just wondering after i fit my leovince de-cat along with a stubby termi , will i need to do any other mods as in to get more air ? i'm not looking for another .0003% power i just want to be ready for the dyno without a second visit i have fitted a k+n performance filter, 2010 1200 , thanks in advance

  4. There was an airbox mod posted a while ago that supposedly gave some good gains - requires some irreversible cutting / melting of the airbox tho
    Not tried it , but you might like to

    I have the same setup , and it is loud as - I’ve currently got the LV baffle fitted - you will need earplugs
     
  5. Think that mod was a DVT one, this is an early single spark model
     
  6. I think the DVT one was using a later airbox .. the mod for the original I recall is medieval and opens up the left side of the airbox with a soldering iron

  7. so i dont need to do anything ? except ear plugs , would i get one of those baffles on ebay or ? thanks
