Story so far Have a 2010 multi about a year and a half. just couldn't get to grips with it and i was losing interest. till I brought the BHP down to 100 in sport The slow riding has improved not so jerky and if you come to some twisty you can go for it. because in touring with 150 bhp it's still very spongy in the twisty The bike was up for sale but now thinking of holding onto it. I was even looking at a GS
Send the ECU to @nelly for a Rexxer remap. Cures the erratic running. I had a GS after my Multi, and found it a let-down. Never set my heart alight.
Or change the power to 150 low, which is the same as used for the touring mode. This gives much better throttle control. My 2012 is still on its standard map and it rides just fine, but I rarely use sport mode.
is the ECU flash the same as the 1 the GSs are getting. ill try the 150 low. in touring mode the suspension was just still a little spongy which did catch me out one day
Better still jump on the ferry and get it to Chris at CJS.....Dyno and a personal map. +150Bhp at the back wheel, smooth as Silk knickers with the kick of a Jalapeno.... don't mix these up.
I didn't have an early one, but cant you set the mode so the suspension in touring is same as sport, just with low 150?
My 2010 lived in sport except in the pissing wet where I moved to rain purely for the very spongy and forgiving suspension. The throttle was fine for me but the mechatronic ECU made a massive difference. Get one if you can
Hi done that today and it worked brilliantly Even in higher gears at low speed it worked great Lucky enough don't get caught in the rain too much But have change the settings and all seems fine
I have a 2011 and have the Tuneboy cruise and tune installed, there's multiple maps to use with this software and I have my bike just how I like it, you can tune out all the grumpiness.
