Hello all, I finally picked up my red 2012 Multistrada sport yesterday and after a 400+ mile round trip (Cheshire - Reading and back) it is safe and sound in my garage, it took a hell of a lot of cleaning when I got it home. It is now tucked up for the rest of the winter as I think it will take to the spring to thaw out after yesterday. After reading numerous post's on here I decided to take out the third year warranty, the dealer said I could not have it at first due to it being an ex demo bike and I was technically the second owner but after quoting some of the threads on here he contacted Ducati and they issued the warranty. So thanks very much for the info already posted, without it I would not have known about the third year warranty and probably wouldn't have pushed the dealer to contact Ducati. MarkD.
Well done. That must have been a tough ride in this weather. If that was the demo model from Blade motorcycles I have ridden that bike! Hope you are as pleased with it as I am mine.
996log & multi 1200, Yes this was the demo model from Blade and I am very pleases with it. The ride home was far worse than the ride there as I hit the M5 onto the M6 at rush hour, it was like wacky races, the amount of cars & vans cutting each other up was unbelievable, oh yes it was freeeeezing. And thanks to everybody for replying.
Chainsaw, Up to now Blade have been very good. Andy, the sales man I dealt with, was very helpful and gave me what I think is a very good deal.
Its a bike, not a priceless antique!! its not made of cheese, ride the bloody thing, (sorry rant over)
