Hi all, I'm going into hospital soon to have a large metal rod taken out of one of my femurs (cycling accident) and as a result i'm going to be out of action for a good while, so i've decided to sell my bikes and then consider what to do when i'm healthy again. I bought my Multistrada in July with 3'500 miles on her and have spent a small fortune on upgrades, which I'll list below. She had a full service with Ducati at the end of September and has done about 1'600 miles since then because we went around England and Scotland for a week at the beginning of October. Model: Multistrada 1200 S Touring Year of registration: 2012 Colour: red Mileage: ~6,500 Owners: one prior to myself from new to 3,500 miles Condition: genuinely immaculate Service: full service by Ducati (Pro Twins in Godstone) 1,600 miles ago (end of September) Tyres: Michelin Pilot Road 4’s with <2,000 miles use Upgrades (may be removed and sold separately if not given consideration in sale price) - Termi carbon can - Ohlins SCU for semi-active suspension - Ducati Performance LED spotlights (from Grantourismo) - Ducati Performance engine bars (from Grantourismo) - Givi E55 Maxia top box with remote control locking - Biketrac satellite tracker - Tyre pressure monitoring system - R&G crash protectors (swing arm, forks and engine cover) - Barkbusters handlebar protectors - Rizoma billet fluid tanks - iPhone mount - Oxford Stormex cover I paid £11,250 for the bike in July and I've spent approx £3.5k on upgrades, servicing and tyres (all receipts kept). I don't have an asking price but I'll consider all serious offers. I'm based in West London and viewings are welcomed. Message me through the forum or call me on 07970 170056 if you're interested.
All the best for the op. I had two nails out of my tibs. But still have a plate on the front of one of them. Good luck with the sale. Whats your other bikes?
Good luck with the ops, sale and recovery. You'll be back on two wheels and then two feet before you know it
Bump - I didn't get any interest in the middle of the bleak winter but now the weather is looking up perhaps there's some interest?
Bump. No interest in the middle of winter. My beautiful bike is therefore up for grabs. Make me an offer people.
