2013/14 Workshop manual

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Psy69, Jan 18, 2014.

  1. Just ordered one.

I'll let you know if it's OK or crap.

  2. I'll bet that turns out to be the draft 2010 pdf manual (freely available all over the place and cheeky fcukers sell on fleabay)!......but fingers crossed for you.
I wasn't aware that a 2013 manual had been released......anyone confirm for sure please.

  3. Has any body heard any thing about the 2013 cd manuals yet ?

If they are or older ones 2010

  4. Yep, I have the 2010 freebie.

This is clearly advertised as 2013, so if it's not, I'll get the money back hopefully via Paypal.

Fingers crossed, like you say :)

  5. Ducati do not release bike spesific manuals on CDs anymore. Everything comes via the online dealer system and a memory stick "key". But there is always some computer guy's that are able to copy something from that I think..

  6. There is positive feedback for the 2013 manual so looks promising

  7. Just cheched mine, it is for the 13/14 model as described.

  8. I'm still waiting for mine, how long did it take to get to you Vintner?

  9. It's pukka! Arrived yesterday

Mine is for the 2013 ST and contains:

Workshop Manual (it runs in your web browser from the CD) and has links to all workshop maintenance tasks with nice colour pictures. It only seems to run direct from the CD. I copied all the CD contents into a folder on my hard drive, and then ran the autorun programme from there, but the manual cannot then be viewed.
Maybe a clever IT person could unlock it?

Also has the Owners Manual and Parts Lists - same as the free pdf's from Ducati's website.

    Very pleased for £7!

  10. Probably took about a week to arrive, but only just got round to checking it.

  11. Panic over it just arrived,
I got the 13/14 S GT, WoW it's got some info, very pleased. as said runs in a web browser through Adobe, ideal for my laptop next to the bike. I don't think you could get much more info on the disk, for £7 well worth the punt.

  12. Interesting comment on ducati.ms on the same subject....

I wonder whether Ducati have ever bothered to update or at least issue an 'addendum' for the 2010 manual that had a lot of errors and omissions?.........you'd think that considering the cost of buying the official item from Ducati they'd advise buyers of updates/corrections (....Ooooo!....was that a flying pig??)
    Anyone have knowledge?

  13. I'm slowly putting the front end of my 2013 PP back together.

I have the 2010 freebie which shows the following values for the front end:

The steering ring nut at 3Nm seems suspiciously low to me? It was 20Nm (and then back off 30 degrees) on my 749R!

Could one of you fine chaps please check your 2013 manual and confirm the above for me please?

If you could also list the yoke pinch bolts and axle pinch bolt settings, that would be great.

    Cheers.

  14. Just found the updated torque settings on mts1200.info (thank you!).

30Nm sounds more like it! Doh!

I'd still like to know if the axle pinch bolts are the same though?

  15. Front fork torque in NM from the 2013 MS ST, should be same for Pikes Peak

  16. Thank you mate, just what I needed! Cheers.

  17. Hey guys.
Anyone got a PDF version of this that doesn't need to run on the cd ? For iPads etc ?
Thinking of giving my 2013 GT a strip down and things like torque setting etc would be handy should I need it.
    Thanks.
