Morning all I am contemplating a switch to a naked bike and hence selling the Ducati. Mileage is approximately 9900 (may slightly exceed). The bike has FSH, flip key and red key, all manuals and toolkit. Tyres are grippy 600 mile old Michelin 2CTs. Recent rear pads and full service. Factory extras include colour matched (red trim) panniers and heated grips. The bike is fitted with a full Arrow system which sounds fantastic, almost ferocious with a soulful bellow on the overrun. All the standard Pikes Peak accoutrements include configurable Skyhook suspension, ABS, power/suspension mode and traction control. I am the second owner. The only blight is a scratch on the left fairing panel and scuff on front mudguard caused by another bike backing into me at some lights. Price dropped accordingly due to this damage. Price is £12100 and the bike is located in Putney, London. No finance outstanding. Cleared funds in my First Direct/HSBC current account will release bike. Pics to follow.
Apologies for delayed reply Aircon. Yes, OEM heated grips operated from starter button. Mileage now just over 10K.
We both believe we can do a deal, but it ain't over until the fat lady sings. I've got a better than 1 in 20 chance I could break my leg if I fell, so no walking on icy pavements today. This has delayed me seeing the machine. As soon as I have secured a deal I'm sure one of us will let you know
Aircon, you are a very naughty boy...... What will 'the nurse' think?...............:Banghead:........:Wideyed:
Securing a good bike. I won't be riding for sometime yet. Way too weak down the left side to hang on to a moped, not to mention a Ducati rocket ship.
AirCon, I know you have big hills to climb. What you've been through could have put a person of biking for life. And who would blame them? It's your spirit I'm applauding.
I believe the deal is done on a hand shake at the Ace Cafe, North West London.....hope that makes this a lucky purchase. Delivery in the next couple of weeks.
