For Sale 2013 White 1199s Abs For Sale

  1. For sale is my pride and joy; very well cared for by an enthusiast and self-confessed home mechanic, with no expense spared and as such it is in truly superb condition. Full Ducati service history from new. First registered 25th October 2013 so not strictly due an MoT yet although I will arrange 12 months MOT prior to sale for peace of mind. The bike has never been dropped or crashed and was purchased by me from new.

Fresh high performance brake and clutch fluid flush recently completed. Forks and shock recently overhauled with new oil and seals by WM Snells Ducati in Alton. DESMO service carried out at 15,000miles by WM Snells and prior services by Blade Motorcycles in Reading. Oil and filter changes between services carried out by me using Shell Advance 15W-50 as recommended by Ducati – receipts to prove. Currently at around 18,500miles and no longer in use. A very strong engine, and it doesn’t burn a drop of oil between services.

    Additional extras:

    Rizoma footpegs
New 1199 R chain and sprocket set from Ducati (rear sprocket up two teeth to 41t +1 link extra in chain). All in very good condition
    Ventureshield kit fitted from new
    Datatool S4 green alarm
StompGrips on tank and knee area of fairings
    Progrips
    GB Racing engine covers
    Triboseat pillion seat cover
Re-covered rider seat using alcantara for better grip - the stock seat was so slippery
    Throttle slop modification carried out
Original battery died and was replaced with Lithium Ion upgrade
85N rear shock spring fitted (90N stock spring is far too stiff even for me at 90kgs in gear)
    Suspension setup carried out
Sprint P-08 serviceable air filter to replace standard element
EBC HH Sintered pads front and rear – rear brand new and front 10% worn
    White rim tape added
Metzeler M7RR tyres – front brand new following puncture, rear in very good condition

Comes with standard footpegs, pillion seat and pegs, plus the bolts to install.

Early in ownership I had a few warranty claims on the bike, and a couple of recalls carried out. Pretty much all the known issues with Panigales occurred and were rectified early on, and since then it’s been great. I have a copy of the records from Ducati to show what was done and when, and also to confirm there are no outstanding recalls or updates due. A recent gear selector return spring repair was carried out immediately after the DESMO service by WM Snells as it snapped on the way home.

Looking for a quick sale as I have a new bike now. Any questions please ask. Viewings welcome weekday evenings or weekends with prior arrangement.

  2. Sam, the images show 11282 miles but your advert states 18500, any up-2-date images?? Also, what did you replace the Panni with?

  3. Yeah it's because the dash was changed at the first main service (7250moles approx) and being prior to a 2014 model it doesn't update the mileage

  4. Not sure if it helps or not, but there was a patch released where the dealer can update the clocks to read correct.

As far as I know it will work for all yr pani's ? ( I could be wrong ? )

  5. I'm not sure it'll do the job as from what I understand it's because the earlier models stored the mileage in the dash, whereas the newer models store it in the BBS. That's what the dealer told me anyway. Good shout though - I will ask at my dealership when I speak to them
