1200 2014 Multi Front Mudguard

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Twinlover, Feb 21, 2023.

  1. Am I correct in thinking I must have an original Ducati rear part, for the front mudguard, so that I can then add an extender to that?

If that’s the case, where can I get one as I can’t seem to find them anywhere?

If it’s not the case and I can get an aftermarket part that does it all, I would be grateful if someone can point me in the right direction.

  2. Man, I would love to go with the second option, but given that I have just bought the bike it is too expensive for now.

The first option looks good to me and obviously it can be lengthened further with another extension if it is still too short???

For the life of me I can’t understand why this item didn’t appear when I searched, but thank you for your help messes.

  3. Computers like me.

Yeah I couldn't stomach the first option, but the second looks good and then you could stick one of those other extenders on. Otherwise it may be worth asking Ducati, it may not be much more expensive for such a small part.

  4. My bike came with the original Ducati extender, and I added a Pyramid Extenda Fenda for extra coverage

I did get a bit of rubbing on the tyre initially so had to fiddle with the fitting if the Ducati extender, think I had to add a couple of washers to take out some free play. Thanks for the link aero.

Of course I'd love the full carbon option, one for future I reckon
