hello All just bought a 2015 1200s multi and looking for a top box and fitting kit for it to go with the original side panniers. apart from the originals which are 500+, any recommendations for the Shad or Givi options. im not going to be carrying a lot of weight, its more for security for the passenger having something behind them and for fitting 2 helmets in when we park up. many thanks Steve
I have a top box and fitting kit for a DVT Multistrada (2015+ & 1260) complete with fitting kit however it has white painted panels (I also have the original silver painted panels). Red painted covers are available but are about £100. I also have a set of liners for both panniers and top box. The top box and liners have been well used but in good condition. £250 for the lot, buyer collects.
The original Ducati rack has stabilising rails that attach to mounts on the under-tray adding support. Beware racks that don't have these as it's far too easy to overstress the mounts. My mate broke his grab-rail by fitting, IIRC, an SW Motech rack to his Enduro.

Yes the box and fitted fit is an original Ducati accessory and includes the support bars which as @Bumpkin says take a lot of load off the grab-rails. I'll take some photos and send you a private message (conversation) with my contact details.
