I've looked but can't see if there are spacers for the dvt screen available. Anyone help me me out please.
Funny that, I was just looking today. The part number is 75840621A. Haven't found any yet but Moto Rapido say on their website that they can order any parts, but then again any Duke dealer should be able to do that...
Just twigged, Yoozy, with that avatar, think we used to have Black Dream V2 Tuono Factory's didn't we? Tuonozone wasn't it? I had a V4 after that...
Tuonoworld chaps. Had an Smt for the last 3 years and a bit, an absolutely fantastic bike, had a bang on the head and px'd it for a Sdr GT but that had to go because of the absolute shite suspension. Loving the Mutley though,,,,, sept fot screen noise. I've got a little Puig on atm but it's not much better than the standard one. I think spacing it more up right would work though. I think I'll fashion some spacers to try it. If that don't work I'll saw it up. Absolutely loving this Mutley though :handok:
Mr C, af1 is still cool. Most of the U.K. Tuono boys have moved on to,,,,,,, err,,,, bikes more suitable to their physiques
That part number is coming up as the rubber grommet for the screen screws sparky mate. The Aztec ones look the job but I can't see any for dvt.
If you're trying to cure buffeting, the most effective solution is to fit a shorter screen. I have the Ducati carbon one and it's smooth and lovely.
Yeah, that's what I've read. Had a service done today and tried a cheeky bid on a pikes peak one while I was in there,,,, they wasn't having it though. Miserable gits.
Problem solved. Bought an xlite x802rr Carbon after a chat with another Mutley owner and problem gone. No more hummy drummy echoey annoyance. Got a Puig sport screen as well. Bit weird it being a sport bike lid but it definitely works.
I've got some Aztec spacers for a 2010 Multi that i'm shipping off to @bradders tomorrow. I'm sure he can let you know if they fit and you can hit up people that are getting rid of their early models.
When it comes to bikes, I have always found a good collection of rubber plumbing washers is a good thing to have
Well. I couldnt cope with the x-lite. The peripheral vision is poor, you can't see anything out the sides really. 3/4 down a bottle of vino collapso the other night I stumbled across an Ducati Arai Tour less than half price brand new because its last years model or summert and has no peak. Never really fancied one before as I think they look shite. I drank more, and some more, it started to look really cute, another swig,,,, oooops, bought it. Well, bugger me gently its magnificent. No buffeting at all,, and I can see  http://s673.photobucket.com/user/nobist/media/Mutlistrada 1200 dvt/IMG_8452_zps4buqgyjp.jpg.html]']']http://s673.photobucket.com/user/nobist/media/Mutlistrada 1200 dvt/IMG_8452_zps4buqgyjp.jpg.html][/URL]
