I thought I would activate the PIN code function on this new Diavel but have found it virtually impossible to press the button on the tank hard enough to activate the Key On function. At first I thought the switch was faulty as it would never work when pressed. A call to Ducati Manchester got the response that they have found the switch must be pressed VERY hard to activate it, perhaps that is an additional security feature, I found my fingers could barely press the button hard enough to activate the system, the position is not ideal either. Do other model years have this same issue and should the unit be replaced with one that can be activated more easily?
