This was supposed to be traded in but I'm thinking it makes sense to keep something to use as a road bike and then got thinking maybe I'd prefer a 1299S...... Just putting this up as a possibility. If someone has a 1299S and looking to swap for an S1000RR then please get in touch. The bike is immaculate and as new, slick chip, lightweight wheels, BMW HP levers and rear sets, 2000 miles. New the bike owes me about £18k. It's an awesome machine but I'm finding it hard to love the BMW like I do the Ducatis and I'm feeling it would be more practical for me to run the same type of road bike as my track bike. I don't particularly want to take the combined hit of trading in a nearly new bike and buying another new machine so a swap/part ex would be better.
