1260 2018 1260s - How Many Keys?

Hi all,

I just test rode a 2018 1260S and all I saw when the dealer got the paperwork etc out was the flip key fob, which he had to hold right up to the dash to get the bike to turn on.

I guess that means the battery in the flip fob is dead?

Should there also be a red key with a 2018 1260S?

I'm close to buying this bike, so I'm sure I'll have a lot of other newbie type questions.

Thanks Andy, I just read the manual and it also says:-
"When the charge level goes below a certain limit, the key can only work in passive mode, like the passive key: in this case, the instrument panel will not display any message."

To be honest, there was so much information on the dash, I could easily have missed the message during the test ride too.
