Hi all, Since I sold my 2016 1299 Panigale in 2021 I’ve tried so many bikes but none scratched the itch. So I picked up this gorgeous 2018 V4S last week from Ducati Cambridge and it’s filled the void left by the big twin. Naturally my mate wants a V4 now too! Is there anything or issues to keep an eye out for this model from an owner’s perspective? Got evotech rad guards but plan to keep it bone stock how god intended.
I bought a 1299S from Ducati Cambridge and sold it back to them, Sort of miss it now. Aside from the power difference, what if anything is better about owning an early V4S?
The one thing most people forget to do is to use the tyre calibration function regularly. I’d say, at least once a month depending on how much you ride. Andy
I absolutely loved my 1299 and owned it for 3 years and put 10k miles on it - however, the V4 is better in almost every way. It’s much more usable and not as abrupt but still retains its theatricality of having a twin Panigale. I think the only downside is that it’s hotter than the 1299 that I can remember, but thats about it.
