Does anyone else have a problem with the rear brake? I’ve adjusted it so it actuates as soon as I press it but it’s still useless!!!!
I'm afraid that I don't know the situation with the Diavel, but Ducati issued a quasi-recall (new brake lines) for the Xdiavel: https://www.diavel-forum.com/index.php?/topic/90791-rear-brake-issue-need-new-brake-lines/ I had these new brake lines installed, and they fixed the problem completely
Its a known design fault and needs bleeding after every ride. I used to unscrew the lid off the brake fluid pot and hang a heavy weight off the brake pedal. After 24 hours the air in the brake fluid will have been forced out so screw the lid back on and it’s fine ready for the next time. Not ideal but it works.
Do not adjust the freeplay out of the lever/master cylinder! as soon as fluid gets hot it will expand and the brakes will bind on usually melting callipers-pads-hoses etc, seen it loads of times
