V4 2022 Lower Fairings On My21 V4

  1. I had to replace one of my lowers and the 390 EUR + sound absorbing panels pricetag was not really appealing. So instead I got a 2022 set for 643 from vulturbike. I could order it in plain red which was also a bonus for me. Today I received them and quickly tried them on as I was worried if they would fit with the Termis or not.
Fortunately it was even better than the original where the black plastic tends to touch the carbon heat shields of the Termis.

Ducati simplified and improved the design and although look wise the previous ones have a cleaner and more appealing look (at least to me), the new ones are definitely better function-wise. Less screws (only 3 at the bottom, not 4), a functioning cutout for the oil level window and they even made a cutout for the adjustable rearsets. Although only on the left side. And presumably more airflow although I do not think I will benefit anything from that but if the engine does that is enough for me.

Pardon the bad pictures, that is as much light as I can get in the garage.

Less sound absorbing panels. And no more hideous looking black plastic.

(I know the wrap work is not nice, it was my first attempt at it and I am going to remove all of them and rewrap it in a much nicer way)

    Edit:
I did not mean to include the 4th picture and I can not edit it out.

  2. "functioning cutout for the oil level window"?!
    Send em back! Haha

  3. Looks as though you are missing some the sound deadening panels judging by the number of attachment posts where they would normally be attached.
