2023 Tt+ Live Pass

It was really good last year - not just the racing but the interviews - looks even better this year. Better than anyrhing on TV.

 

Yeah well worth it, I am at home working every day so can have it on in the background all day and was a brill week last year for it.

Last year the first day was a bit sketchy with some coverage issues, think they didnt anticipate the capacity for the demand but they got it sorted after the first race day and no major issues after that so think they will have sorted that this year.

 

I have to say, 20 quid isn't bad seeing as you get all the racing and practice, live timings and streaming coverage.

You'll probably have more of an idea of what's going on than me, and I'll be in the hedgegrows

 

Today is the day when TT 2024 ferries are released to the masses. It's a painful experience of engaged, redial, engaged, redial on and on and on and on.

After an hour of that then some of being on hold, eventually it's sorted, which is good going for the steam packet, it usually takes much longer.

Website is even more of a wait.

If you've booked, then I'll see you on the island, if you've
not booked and are trying, good luck and be patient.

Return boats are looking booked up already if you want to return on the weekend at the end of TT week.

 

Have to say much improved booking system this year through website. There is a queueing system which took an hour but then very smooth . Booked ferries in and out on days routes wanted and also booked accomadation.

 

I were happy with the boats all told. Going out on the Friday morning of practice week but couldn't get back am on the Sunday. Not too fussed, back the day after in the am.

 

Weren’t there a lot of complaints last year about the quality/reliability of the streams?
They might have beefed it up this year to cope with the demand?

 

last year the ferry (for a car) booking site just crashed and i had spinning beach ball, must have reloaded the page 150 times, eventually it gave me ridiculous dates, like coming back on the Tuesday after

so i gave up

i retried back in february and low and behold i got my original dates, out of liverpool back into heysham
