in the first 6 weeks since had the 899 have been to assen and Aberdeen and a few places inbetween racked up a healthy amount of miles and have to say bike has been pretty amazing the noise alone is pretty spectacular but along with the looks and performance and *touch wood* the reliability have to say i am a very happy owner, had some concerns about going from jap bikes to italian but have to say those fears have been put to bed yes had to do some fettling to get feel of brakes right yes footpegs are a bit shite and yes discovered after the last trip the heat shield is a bit loose but all minor stuff as far as I am concerned looking forward to next 2k miles

It could have gone something like this ahem ahemm in the first 6 weeks since I had the 899, My time spent with her has been absolutely sublime I have been to assen and Aberdeen and a few places in between That noise that sound Not to mention the reliability all round My fears have been put to bed The dreaded breakdown nightmares have vanished from my head OK the pegs and heat shield aren't the best But who give a flying F**k when i'm cooler, more stylish and quicker than the rest I am looking forward to out next 2k together Lets hope we have more of this glorious, sunny, British weather
