The Bank holiday weekend is looking like a washout, certainly not worth me travelling North to Santa Pod for a couple of days like I was planning. Getting a wet tent is one thing, but paying to watch the track being dried gets boring. Anyway, best day is looking like Friday, tomorrow, so I'll be getting out and about during the afternoon on my 999 or M1000. Anyone else on the South coast out and about? Meet for a brew and chat at Loomies or elsewhere?
There are several 'South' events this weekend that might suit ? Saturday - Brooklands Moto-Italia. Lots of Surrey and Sussex based riders heading there. Then Alton DUCATI later on the same day for their open day BBQ. On Sunday there is a rideout down from McDonalds A272 via Loomies to Ducati Bournemouth opening - again they are laying on food, some racing celebs and lots to see and sit on etc. Should be dry, if not terribly sunny, forecast is showing dry until about 7pm on the Sunday evening.
