Well I've just got back from my 4000mile round trip of Europe. With FULL luggage and a pillion. The bike didn't miss a beat, to the surprise of the rest of the group, in fact for some reason only my bike would jump start a Triumph ST sprint who's as it turned out it's alternator had burnt out riding over the stelvio pass. I had to jump start it over 2 days, the Guy with a GS was most upset when his bike wouldn't do it. I did have a small issue, it rained so hard riding from Bologna past Venice to Leifers that my key got full of water after my pocket filled up with water, so had to start it with the key code until I could find a garage that sold remote batteries, I'm a bit miffed to be honest, the seal was ripped on the key and I've never had it open before. Other than that the bike was fecking awesome and well capable of keeping up with the others even though we were the only pillion bike and had full luggage. considering the intense heat the altitude and the torrential rain I think a lot more could have gone wrong. I wasn't so keen on the mountain roads though it was hard work slowing for hairpins with all that weight on the back. A few pics as proof ;-)
I did a 4,000 miler in 2012, ranging from 38 deg in Croatia to stair rods in Poland and ditto, the bike never missed a beat, even though the suspension was stuck in Sport from the get go.
