  1. Just put new belts on my ST4, got them from Exige on here. Good stuff, good service too.
Bikes runs beautifully, really smooth now.

New HEL brake lines because I thought I should. The brakes were a bit slow so I put new carbon Loraine pads on too. My rears were finished and the fronts were low. I'll report back on them when I've given them a little more time but the rear is already a huge improvement.

New Oberon clutch slave cylinder. Needed it. The seals go every so often, thought I'd just bolt a whole new one on and see how it goes.

If you maintain them, they are reliable.....probably put a curse on it having said that.

  2. Wow, you've overtaken my 999S :)

The Oberon will delight you :upyeah:

And Elise does belts now? He kept that quiet! ;)

  3. Good work Sam :)

  4. Top darts mate!

Had a mileage achievement myself lately.

I'm running Carbonne Lorraine street pads myself and I find them very good.

I replaced the OEM Brembo discs with Blackshadow ones and ran a set of EBC HH pads on them first.

I didn't like them. They were grabby and juddery in the dry and a little panic inducing int the wet. There was a milisecond delay before they bit in heavy rain and it was always an arse twitching moment.

I had the same issue before on an old ZZ-R when I put EBC Prolite discs on with EBC HH pads. it was entirely cured by the CL pads — and guess what this time? Same again.

The only thing is, I should have gone for the HH CL pads as the street ones are just a tad underwhelming and at this stage I really don't need to worry about disc wear.

Interested to hear your own experience with the CL pads.

  5. The latest pads Cl do are
    Rear: Rx3
Front: XBK5's. 2 sets, 1for each side. The 5 is the latest model.
This is the setup for a Sportsbike.

The more I use them the happier I am with them.

You're doing well with your bike.
