5.75" rear wheel on 996 SPS, what size tyre? I've been running 190/55 on my 996 SPS race bike with 6 inch Mag rim. About to put a set of BST carbons on and the rear is 5.75 inch so should I be putting 180/55 or 190/55 on her?
A 180 would stretch the profile a bit, probably only just a bit though, I would have imagined, a 190 would be a safer bet. Someone with more experience here might be able to enlighten you more. You could try asking someone like FWR tyres on 0207 820 7818 as they have always given me good advice and they are very helpful to deal with.
