Hi guys not sure if this has already been covered but I have the opportunity to purchase a 6 inch wide forged aluminium rear Marchesini but not sure if this will fit onto my 05 749. It's not an S or R model was originally a bip but now mono. The standard size is 5.5inch as you know with 180/55 tyre so I'm assuming a wider tyre would also be preferable. Anyway would love to hear from those with the knowledge! Cheers BtheB
Yes, it will fit. My 749R has a 6" BST rear rim, and I've used all sorts of tyres, including 190/60 Dunlops.
