999 6 Year Old And A Paddock Stand!

Discussion in '749 / 999' started by aviating cud, Mar 29, 2015.

  1. Gutted. My son was trying to help get my bike 9R in the garage after washing it and decided to take it off the paddock stand without me. He was more upset than me. The bike isn't too bad as the LH rearset took the brunt of the impact. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement footpeg and gear lever for Migliore rearsets. I've done the usual google search but it has not shown anything. Maybe someone has a spare lying around. Any help will be very much appreciated. After I get the rearsets sorted I just need to replace the ASV clutch lever and clip on bar end as the are scuffed and get the mirror cover repainted. I'm just glad the fairings were removed.

  2. Tommy B posted a link to these the other day, should be able to sort the rearsets

  5. Steve has done me a massive favour and got me sorted. All parts should be here for the weekend. The other parts can wait for a short while. Thanks everyone for your help and my son has just about got over dropping my bike.

Many years ago whilst I was at work my wife decided to clean my bike (ZXR750H1). Wheeled it out of the garage onto the driveway and then it toppled away from her and fell down a sloped section of garden. Insurance job in the end - fairing panels top and side cracked, mirror, handlebar bent, exhaust silencer, foot rest, seat unit side panel.

Bike cost around £3500 new - list of bits above ran to over £1000

    hey ho.....(we're still married)
