748/853 Sps

  1. hi guys heres my my 748/853 track bike nearly finished but it quite useable as it is, it started life as a 748 biposto and i turned it into a track bike, it was fine but then thought id change a few things and as usual it all get out of control.

    gtec built engine with titanium rods and 853 pistal pistons,
    sps cams
    gas flowed heads
    lightened and balanced crank

    carbon/mag wheels

    alloy front and rear sub frame

    ohlins fork internals/serviced ohlins shock

    carbon under tray, air tubes, battery box, air box, front mud guard, rear chain guard.

    brembo master cylinder

    renthal chain and sprockets

    repainted in yellow with white number boards

    ngr slipper clutch

    oil cooler fitted

    alloy termi's (45-50mm)

    916 throttle bodies

    hyper pro steering damper

    gb moto rear sets

  6. Very nice.
    I would recommend upgrading the calipers to P4 4 pad type to match the increased oomph of the motor.
    You can pick them up pretty cheap and they improve the braking no end compared to the standard calipers.

  7. i dont think the later calipers fit the early forks??
     
  8. Ah, didn't notice that you had 40mm caliper mounts...you are correct, the later P4 calipers are 65mm bolt spacing.
    Still, you could always fit later forks as they are still quite reasonably priced?
     
  9. yeah that will be the next step mate, maybe 1098 front end with mono block calipers

  18. There's a pair on ohlins on here at the mo I think which would be nice on that ;)
     
  19. there were 6 of us all part of mike west racing, had all the ducati's and the hondas
