  1. Wanting to fit my side stand switch back on but my bolt has no threaded hole on the outside for it to bolt to.(Couldn't work out how it went so I searched eBay and found a pic of one with the threaded hole...if I'm wrong feel free to correct me!)
I also went to fit my new lever and bleed the brakes only to find the small push rod missing that pushes into the plunger :(
    Any help much appreciated!
    Cheers

  2. For the side stand it depends on the ago of you bike, early ones did not have a side stand switch and very early ones had the flick up side stand, both can be modified. There is a kit on ebay that allows older bikes to have the side stand cut out fitted as a retro setup.

The brake pin, if I remember correctly, is fitted to the later master cylinders as there are two types of cylinder, early (pre 1999 roughly depending on model) and post 1999. You cannot buy any brake parts from Ducati you have to buy the whole master cylinder but you can buy them from a KTM dealer, that might be your first port of call. Maybe someone can confirm as I am doing this from memory.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Cheers red
    I have a 2002 998s
Looks like I have an earlier bolt on a later set up. Maybe I can drill and tap the bolt if its not too hard....
Was just hoping a track rider may have one....I'll try tommyb as he broke a 998 recently

  4. Mate, just leave the side stand bypassed...the switch has no use really.

The offers still there on the broken master of mine...have you tried biketorqueracing like I suggested?
