748 as a track bike

  1. I don't want to spend more than £4,000 on a track bike just for summer fun. I can't think of anything more fun to ride than the 916/748.

    I miss my old 748's and would love to get back on them again.

    Is a 748 viable in this day and age?

  3. I'm thinking £3,000 for a biposto or a bit more for one with a single seat. Then a set of fiber glass fairings, some carbon fiber goodies and go from there... So overall £4,000 to get the bike track ready.

  6. No I meant a 748 for about 2k imho. Or just go buy an r6 ;-)

  7. I brought a 749s for track and love it, there are a few on flea bay and for £3K ish you can pick up a gooden
