hi, am looking for brake discs with black centres (in top order) also black billet reservoirs, frame bungs and a nice nose cone. cheers
Black was never a stock colour for any of the 748 onwards series. You would have to go aftermarket for those, eBay should have someone selling them.
yea I know.... but perhaps other models may fit? looking at after market the only names i'm sure of are brembo and galfer both running in at about £180 per disc
you need to research disc offset as there re a lot of variables…beyond colour. depending on what you already have you could strip them get them anodised whatever colour you want and even reassemble them as fully floaters...
They are the standard floating brembo disk on 99 748... don't think there is any offset? I know the r models are 15mm. I did speak to harris about changing carriers but they where unsure (without looking at my discs) if their fixings would fit my rotors... How would one remove standard fixings ?
Yea I seen those ones and a quick google tells me that they are not to clever! That's what I mean, the only brands I know and trust are brembo and galfer but I by no means know a great deal about this subject!!!! But as the ad infers some other models are compat and perhaps one of those came in black? Not the end of the world might just bite the bullet and go galfers....
why don't you 'Quick google' how to strip and rebuild your existing discs too then…. £ 10 to get them anodised, around £20 or so for new bobbins... and personally i can't stand wavy discs...

hey, Thanks for your help dude....genuinely asking for advice, if sarcasm and flippancy is what's on offer i'm sorry I did.. if i'm missing your sense of humour I apologise but we are not all gurus.
done many searches over the last few months But Im not very good with these things so I thought maybe on here there might be someone who would know straight of the bat where to go! there are many avenues but im looking for the most cost effective (and safe) I could drill the bobbins out of my rotors and put in new carriers/bobbins myself but brakes to me are kinda important!!!!
