Several years ago, I was 'had' by an ex MET copper who assured me he had a kosher 748RS engine for sale. Long story short, this is a 748 engine I put in my track bike so I didn't have to use the stock 748R engine. Serviced and set up by MR, dyno'd @120hp and ran well. It is mostly RS but definitely not the crank or the generator. I did 2 or 3 track days before it was replaced with my 853 build. I suggest its value is in the RS parts and not as an engine. The engine number on the crank case has been crudely obliterated. As you see it without the engine box, £500 ono. If you want the engine box as well, make me a sensible offer.
