Hi all out there thanks for your thoughts on my recent electrical problems it seems to have cured itself and is behaving, but another problem arose with the temperature gauge not working I followed the test instructions in the Haynes manual and earthed the sender wire to the frame and the needle moved over to hot as described proving the sender is defective. My question is does it have to be a over priced Ducati part or is there an alternative one that would fit that's a bit cheaper and does the job. The one fitted just has one wire with a spade terminal but the ones I saw on the web had a two wire connection , my bike is a 1995 748 so did they change this on later models. Thanks Dave Jose.
