Righty...i need some information on if the 749 and 999 yokes are interchangable...of cause i know the s models have the larger diameter for the ohlins but otherwise do they both have the same diameter stearer tube, with no silly offsets etc My reason for asking is...if the 749 bottom yolk is the same as the 848 & 848 evo (which i have been informed it is?) then from what i can see the 999 yoke must be interchangeble also...making the 999s bottom yolk a sutible fixture for the 1098s ohlins forks on an 848 (being a 56mm diameter) Someone tell me im right here??
your right here.............diameter of the forks seems good as well as std offset 36mm.........the bit that might get me is the steering tube length.....and diameter
Brill, thanks mate...I'm pretty sure they are the same steering tube...can't see why not as the frames are the same on both 749 & 999 (unlike the 848 & 1098 which obviously have a longer head stock) Can anyone 100% clarify as this info could make people's life including mine a whole lot cheaper and easier when putting Ohlins on there 848.
