My tank started leaking and in tightening up the pump assembly managed to shear the bolt.... So after much cursing I'm looking for a tank, ideally black or yellow. Anyone got one laying around they fancy selling?
I'm in contact with a guy in Belgium who has some 999 fairings I'm hoping to buy. He has a tank as well, probably in red all in vgc. I've asked for prices and will let you know. Is your tank beyond repair? Bolt extractor or drill and tap?
Cheers that would be great. Yeah it's pretty much useless.... Tried to get the rest of the bolt out and get a new one in, ended up putting a slight bend in the fuel assembly opening and don't fancy trying to use it for us both to go up in flames.
