749 Rearset Recommendations

  1. I want to change the rearsets on my bike for a slightly different riding position. A quick search shows there are various ones available ranging from China-based ones for sub-£100 through to £350+.

    As someone who doesn't really know what they're looking at in this space (other than wanting something adjustable), does anyone have any views / experience on some decent ones to go for? Are the Chinese ones really that bad as they look to be well-machined?

  5. Correct. I prefer the simplicity of the DP type.
     
  6. The Chinese rearsets I bought some time ago were "OK" but shift and rear brake levers were too short.

    Highly recommend Bonamici sets as I've had three of them on different bikes with no issues and crash tested them on track without any bending or breaking. They are worth the asking price:
