Hi guys a mate of mine has found 2 bikes he likes one a 749r and a 999r. The 999 is flawless , one owner full history but is 13k the 749 is very good condition but not mint small few stone chips but nothing bad but itz up for 8k both have about 9k on the clock, personally I'd go for the 999 bit he reckons the 749 is more special? Any one got any ideas cheers.

Is that the same fella who just posted on FB to ask which is the most desirable and collectable between the two? 999R's took of much quicker with the value/collectability, but the 749R is starting to catch up I think. Some guy on FB has said the 749R was the nearest to a proper race bike than any of the R's, which as we know is bollocks as the 1098R holds that crown Is it a 2004 749R? What year / model is the 999?

Mileage and model dependant, the 749R seems the best deal, and I'm more of a fan of the 999R, unless it was a Fila or Pretend Copy Machine version...
