749 749s Ecu Remap

Discussion in '749 / 999' started by bluey, Jun 10, 2016.

  1. Who has this done already? CJS are going to rewrite the front and rear cylinder maps for fuel and timing. I am supposed to be getting the 749s on Tuesday but I am keen to find out what others think of their remapped 749s?

    Cheers.

  2. Bluey, I had this done on my 748 (by Rich and Chris) and the result was power and torque up 15% from stock and a transformed bike that even sounded meaner, the remap was a significant improvement from a custom PC3 set up. Will soon be getting it done on my 999 so am also interested in any one's accounts of the improvements in power, torque, drivability and smoothness. Post up the details please

  3. Great, that's what I wanted to hear. They removed the fitted PC3 as they don't like tuning them and advised my to sell it on to fund a custom remap which I am doing.

I visited Louigi/CJS to fix the stalling issue and things have spiralled. :) :)

Many plans a foot with this bike. ;)

  5. I'll post again when I have the bike and my wallet is empty.

  6. I have the bike back and Louigi and CJS have worked their magic. Very smooth power delivery.

    I have no lights though!!

  7. All sorted (see other thread).

Back to this thread. Chris has got a torquey 110 rear wheel hp from the 749s. Happy with that, torque comes on strong from way low down in the rev range, it is smooth as silk and ticks over beautifully.

Nice one Louigi Moto and CJS Racing.

111 RWHP, what's that, about 125-130 at the crank? That'll do nicely.
