Hi iam new to this site I have a 998 and have just picked up a 796 hypo for a bit of fun . Ive been looking at the new sc project 2 1 2 exhausts does anyone have them fitted on there bike iam interested in the set up of the afm unit and does it have to be set up by my ducati dealer on there diagnostic system Cheers people ant advise would be appreciated
I have just fitted an sc project CR-T , air filter and fuel managment system....( not a full system by the way just end can) their or website sates that not all bikes require the AFM i had had mine fitted, its easy enough I watched the whole process, only difficult part was getting to the air filter under the tank... no rolling road , just fitted and now just alter the setup a click at a time sc website says optimum (for the hyper sp) is setting 5-9 , currently I have it on 5 but will click it to 6 and see what, if any difference..and so on until I find the best one having spoken with a ducati specialist and an independent they have an argument against the need for rolling road stuff and reckon best setting can be found on the road sory can't be of a more specific help on your model suffice to say its a cracking bit of kit...looks the dogs and sounds like thunder.....
Cheers mate ive seen a few utube videos on them and they look supercool and sound the dogs. I ve got akrapovic's on my 998 a full race system it sets car alarms off but the sc sounds even better.Ill keep you updated Thanks for the advice
