Hi all! Hope all is well. I'm looking into getting a set of rearsets for my 848. What do you guys recommend based on looks, quality and prices? Any advice is greatly appreciated
ducati performance black rearsets fully adjustable 848 1098 1198 | eBay They are the same as mine, or there are these TRW items, I've heard good reviews about TRW stuff, espeically from the Triumph brigade. https://www.ducatimondo.co.uk/store...dition-rearsets-for-ducati-848-1098-1198.html If you are tempted by the TRW ones, give the guy a ring (his name is Russ) and tell him I recommended you, he may be able to work you a better price out for them too. Have a browse around his new online store, he's got a great range of products.
I have a set of those DP ones, and they do come with a new brake lever, rod and attachment for the master cylinder from new. So bear that in mind with the price of those ones.... I haven't got them on, I'm using stock hangers with Baylis pegs and carbon heel guards.
What Anth is saying is true, however mine (bought for a massively reduced price from eBay, second hand) didn't come with a rear brake lever, either. This isn't a problem as: A) you can reach the standard brake lever without even having to don clown shoes, and B) you can get a much better looking aftermarket lever from the likes of the forum's very own; Avanti Racing, for not a great deal at all.
Right on cue! No not here you don't....that's at that other Ducati place over the road we frequent!
