848 serviced in france...

  1. Hi guys,
I'm new to this site so any advice would be much appreciated . I've put a deposit down on a Ducati 848 evo on a 62 plate (registered Nov 2012) with just shy of 1500 miles on the clock and am hoping to have it early next week.

Having just spoken to the dealer (Millennium Motorcycles) he has told me there are 2 service stamps, the first was at Aylesbury Ducati and the second was done in France at a dealer called Moto Center 81.

The dealer tells me that the bike was owned by his former boss and he really just used it as a toy. Also he tells me having it serviced in France won't effect the warranty as its a European warranty and that 2 stamps at the bikes mileage is a good thing as it shows its been well looked after.

As I worry about most things in life I just thought I'd get peoples opinions on here to see if I was worrying about nothing!? And if I had to sell it on for what ever reason do you think it would be a negative?

  2. Nout to worry about....wouldnt put me off.
